Olga Chernysheva’s photographic series ‘To Moscow! To Moscow! To Moscow!’ is presented at eponymous enagural exhibition of GES-2 contemporary arts centre in Moscow, curated by Ragnar Kjartansson. Chernysheva’s new comissioned video work is also being premiered.
The exhibition is on view until 13 March 2022.

On Saturday, 4 December, at 5 pm, two artist talks will be held at Temnikova & Kasela gallery.
Curator and art historian Denis Maksimov will be in conversation with the artist Jaanus Samma about the exhibition 'Otherness, Desire, the Vernacular: Carlos Motta and Jaanus Samma', which is on view at Temnikova & Kasela gallery until 9 January 2022.
The second conversation will feature Moscow-based artist Oleg Frolov, São Paulo-based artist Roberto Winter and art historian Denis Maksimov. The conversation focuses on the works and practices of two artists, which will take the form of an exhibition at Temnikova & Kasela gallery in the summer of 2022.
The conversations will be held in English.
On 16 December at 6pm, a book on Edith Karlson's work of the previous 12 years will be launched at the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia.
The 320-page English language publication "Drama is in Your Head" is Karlson's first monograph. It provides an overview of 22 projects by Karlson accompanied by extensive photographic documentation, as well as two essays by Eero Epner and Denis Maksimov. The book is edited by Evelyn Raudsepp, designed by Indrek Sirkel, translated by Keiu Krikmann, and published by Lugemik and EKKM.
Merike Estna's solo exhibition "The House of the Tragic Poet" will open on 27 November (preview on 26 November) at Bosse & Baum in London.
The exhibition will be on view until 29 January 2022.

Edith Karlson's sculpture "Vanad head ajad" ("Good Old Times") was unveiled on Noblessner square in Tallinn on 17 November.
"Vanad head ajad" is the largest aluminum sculpture placed in Baltic public space to date. It is also one of the few large-scale works of art to be created on private sector initiative after the restoration of independence in 1991.

Estonian Artists Association has chosen Edith Karlson and Jaan Toomik as the recipients of Artist laureate salary during the years 2022-2024.
Artist laureate salary is awarded to five outstanding artists, curators or art historians/critics every year by Estonian Ministry of Culture and the purpose of the salary is to allow professional dedication to creative activities and thereby contribute to the development of Estonian culture.
Temnikova & Kasela is hosting a presentation of a new publication, a collection of articles by Tõnis Vint, published by ;paranoia publishing.
The presentation takes place on Saturday, 13 November at 4pm in the gallery as part of the exhibition "Guided Randomness. Early Ink Drawings by Tõnis Vint".
Edith Karlson, Flo Kasearu, Jaan Toomik, Jaanus Samma, Kaido Ole, Marko Mäetamm and Sigrid Viir are part of the group exhibiton "Art in the Comfort Zone? The 2000s in Estonian Art" at KUMU Art Museum.
