Kris Lemsalu at Sõru saund (previously Kalana saund)

Kris Lemsalu & Kyp Malone will be performing at Sõru Saund this Saturday.

Fliis Lemsalu presents: Live karaoke, DJ set by Kyp Malone & more. Music festival takes place 23-26 July in Hiiumaa, Estonia.

Kris Lemsalu Malone & Kyp Malone Lemsalu "Love Song Sing Along (Once Again With Feeling!)" will open at Kai Art Center on 17 July.

Kai Art Center’s summer exhibition Love Song Sing Along (Once Again With Feeling!) has been created by the artist duo of Kris Lemsalu Malone & Kyp Malone Lemsalu. Both new and previously unexhibited works will be on view together with a large-scale installation that was exhibited earlier in the year at the KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin.
The exhibition is on view until 23 August, 2020.

Kris Lemsalu's new works from the series "Immaterial Material Love", 2020, are shown as part of the exhibition "Sincere Intentions" at Robert Grunenberg gallery in Berlin. The exhibition is on view from 13 June to 1 August 2020.

Olga Chernysheva's solo exhibition "GRIDS@RIPS" is currently on view at Fundacja Galerii Foksal in Warsaw.

The exhibition has been organized in association with Iragui Gallery and was originally meant as a joint presentation during the “Friend of a Friend 2020”.

The show is on view until 27 June.

Flo Kasearu presents new book in collaboration with Jan Kaus

Flo Kasearu

Flo Kasearu and Jan Kaus collaborated on the book "Vangerdused" ('Castlings') which drew inspiration from true stories of Pärnu women's shelter. The central theme of the book is domestic violence and the stories are nightmare-ish fairytales.

In contrast, the presentation of the book was held with a pancake party at Flo Kasearu House Museum. For more images of the event - click here.

Jaan Toomik is participating in Estonian Artists Association yearly spring exhibition group show. This year the exhibition is divided into two sections, Toomik's work can be seen in Tallinn Art Hall Gallery as part of the exhibition "Artists Painting Artists".

The exhibition is on view until 5 July.

Temnikova & Kasela gallery is taking part of the FAIR. We are showing works by Edith Karlson, Inga Meldere and Jaanus Samma

Taking place 20 May–21 June, FAIR will directly support 119 NADA Gallery Members and 81 other galleries that have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, totaling nearly 200 galleries around the world.

FAIR offers an alternative profit-sharing model, structured to facilitate mutual support within the art community and provide revenue to each of its participants during a time in which galleries have temporarily closed their physical locations. A percentage from each sale made from FAIR will directly benefit all participating galleries and artists. In addition, a percentage of each sale will go towards supporting NADA for their efforts in producing FAIR, their continued work as an organization for art galleries, through this time of crisis and beyond.

Sigrid Viir and Cloe Jancis Isolation dialogue

Sigrid Viir is participating in Isolation Dialogues, a project initiated by Tallinn Museum of Photography.

The aim of the project is to record the perception of the time of isolation through visual dialogues. The photographers participate in the project by invitation and when the emergency situation ends, the dialogues between the artists will become a book and an exhibition at the Museum of Photography.

Temnikova & Kasela is participating in Frieze Viewing Room, an online edition of Frieze New York art fair, 6–15 May. 
The gallery is presenting works by artists Merike EstnaKris Lemsalu and Kaarel Kurismaa

Alongside artworks by the three artists, Temnikova & Kasela’s presentation will include two videos introducing Merike Estna’s and Kaarel Kurismaa’s practice.

Flo Kasearu in Stockholm and Visby

Flo Kasearu is taking part in the international group show "Performing the Fringe", curated by Jussi Koitela and Inga Lāce at Konsthall C in Stockholm, presenting a new video called ‘Open House’ (2019).
In addition to the exhibition in Stockholm, Kasearu will lead three workshops at the Baltic Art Center residency in Visby, mapping the fears of Gotland.

Exhibition in Stockholm: 13 March to 17 May 2020. Opening of the exhibition is on 13 March at 6pm.
